The Buzz -- Does a 26.2-mile trek under the June sun sound daunting? Grandma's Marathon, billed as a "world class event with small town charm," has been drawing runners to this friendly corner of Minnesota since the mid-1970s. The course follows Old Highway 61 along Lake Superior's northern shore before ending up at Duluth's popular Canal Park. Live entertainment follows day events.
