Blackwood has a cozy atmosphere and is located next to the Americ Inn where I stayed 3 nights for business travel. I had a gourmet hamburger here 4 or 5years ago and it was awesome again. Do try a burger please. The sweet potatoe fries were a treat too. Nice to have something different when you travel 4 days a week. A nice spot. MARK EAU CLAIRE,WI

If you are looking for a restaurant that will provide a meal for most anyone, without inspiring, Black Woods wins hands down in Duluth. There is a good variety of well prepared meals to be had, but nothing to knock your socks off. Prices are decent for a family meal out, but for celebrations, I would look elsewhere for spectacular food.
