This award-winning museum, which is housed inside Dumfries's 18th century watermill, chronicles the relationship between Robert Burns and the city. Burns, an influential poet, spent his last years here in the 1790's. Attractions include audiovisual exhibits, Burns's personal items and documents, as well as a marvelous scale model of Dumfries circa the 1790's. There is a giftshop and cafĂ©.   (© 10Best)
