4. Glamis Castle

Glamis Castle is the birthplace of Princess Margaret and has been considered a royal residence since 1372. The castle was also home to Queen Elizabeth when she was a child and is the setting for the classic play "Macbeth." The picturesque grounds are lavish and feature an exquisite Italian Garden, and the exterior of the castle features turrets.
