St. Mary's Tower, otherwise known as The Old Steeple, is one of Scotland's oldest standing medieval towers. This landmark was a part of the first church of St. Mary and was completed in 1480. Closed to the public for the last 30 years, the tower is presently open for guided tours that will give you a taste of the history through which the tower has stood.   (© 10Best)
