Rooted in the history of Scotland, this cathedral dates back to the 11th century, and its round tower was built about 1000 AD. The Picts first settled the region, and the structures were used for religious purposes. The Brechin Cathedral Round Tower measures 105 feet tall and features a doorway that has elaborate pictographs.   (© 10Best)
