Mary, Queen of Scots, bestowed this tract of land to the people of Dundee. Although a bit strange and eerie, this historic cemetery is noted for the number of trade guild headstones it holds. Visitors can see the detailed decorative work that went into the Victorian tombs that mark each guild member's tomb.

Located on Kirriemuir Hill, this elaborate pavilion was a gift to the town and offers a stunning view of the city and countryside. Sir J.M. Barrie, a writer, donated the Kirriemuir Camera Obscura, and it is one of only three found in Scotland.

The only way to really see Dundee is from the top of the Law. Known as the highest point in the city, Law Hill can be a tiring walk, but it is worth every step. The scenic views offer a panoramic glimpse of the river, harbor, rolling hills, and meadows that surround the city.

This is where the stars and moon of the Scottish sky come alive. The Mills Observatory, which is a public site, is the only one of its kind in the country. Located atop Balgay Hill, visitors are able to witness the spectacular celestial movements that occur above Dundee and its countryside.

The Sensation Science Centre is a phenomenal facility that brings science to life with more than 50 hands-on interactive exhibits. The center even features a "senses" display that demonstrates how a dog sees, hears, and smells the world. This is a fascinating site that is also educational.
