4. Festival for the Eno

The Buzz -- Held on the banks of the Eno River near a working grist mill, this enjoyable outdoor festival features live music on five stages, craft vendors and dancing. Canoe and raft rentals are available for those who wish to explore the river, and a hands-on clay center allows you to try your hand at pottery. With everything from face painting to fossil-digging at their fingertips, the kids won't be short of activities either.
