This historic route, once the main route west for motorists of the first half of the 20th century, stretches "from Plymouth Rock to the Puget Sound." Hearken back to the "Golden Age of Motoring" as the Wisconsin leg of the Yellowstone Trail leads from Kenosha to Hudson, along the way passing through population centers like Milwaukee, Oshkosh, and Eau Claire as well as scores of small, rural towns.
