6. Mabel Tainter Theater

MENOMONIE.   The historic Mabel Tainter Theater, a listed building, offers an engaging look into Menomonie's past, its ornate Victorian-era architecture featuring regal white archways, brass fixtures, leaded glass windows, rich walnut and mahogany walls, and intricate, hand-carved woodwork. The theater also boasts a rare (and working) Steere and Turner tracker pipe organ. Performances vary from season to season, ranging from operas and classical concerts to children's theater and off-Broadway shows.   (© 10Best)
