Though this charming inn dates from just the 1960s, its authentic Victorian styling gives it a timeless quality. The inn's restaurant has received more than its share of regional and national press, including high marks from "Wine Spectator." Dinner crowds enjoy the likes of slow-roasted prime rib, hazelnut-encrusted scallop, roast duck Montmorency, and chateau briand for two. My husband and I grew up in Eau Claire but the theater was not around at that time. Every year we return in the summer and the first thing we do is get a reservation to the most unique, delicious, comfortable experience we can find. Please keep it going for a long, long time!
