8. Northwoods Brewpub & Grill

Eau Claire residents count themselves lucky that the town's only brewpub can hang its hat with the best in the state. Rustic, wooden support beams hold up the plank-wood ceiling, and the walls are decorated with an array of hunting and fishing trophies. More importantly, the joint's seven-barrel system produces a solid lineup of tasty quaffs, ranging from Bumblin' Bubbas Buzzin' Brew to Birchwood Pale Ale. After several visits, I've always had awesome microbrew beer but less than stellar food. Oh yeah, and great pies... Beer and pie, I guess that's all you need.

Atmosphere is A. However, the food is average at best and all the homemade brews taste the same. It looks cool from the outside but I’d leave the rest to your imagination and go somewhere else!
