7. Norske Nook

OSSEO.   A bit of a drive for those staying in Eau Claire, Norske Nook is nevertheless well worth the trip, especially if you're in the mood for a hearty Midwestern-style breakfast of steak & eggs, cinnamon French toast, homemade waffles, eggs benedict, or their signature Lefse Wraps (scrambled egg, hash browns, cheese, and your choice of breakfast meat wrapped in Scandinavian flatbread). Also legendary are the homemade pies, and it's not uncommon for people to travel a long way to sink their teeth into a slice of Norske Nook's pecan fudge, butterscotch, strawberry rhubarb, or fresh raspberry pie.   (© 10Best)
