6. Mona Lisa's

starter favorite wonton shrimp ....we also had a pizza and shared, thin crust loaded with fresh ingredients. very good. the arugula, roasted grape salad wtih goat cheese crostini is highly recommended. our dinners: steak with roasted grape tomato compote and crazy good olives. steak done to perfection, certified angus beef, excellent quality. we also had chilean sea bass with a cilantro pesto broth, grilled shrimp and served over garden fresh squash ribbons. flavorful, light, fresh! the menu is creative...we cant say enough. will go out of our way to this spot next time we travel from chicago to minnepolis.

Delicious but EXPENSIVE. The reason their menu is so limited is that it changes everyday based on what is fresh. Perfect place to pop the question. Did I mention it was expensive?

Mona Lisa's is my and my fiance's favorite place to eat in Eau Claire. We eat here at least once a week. Located on Water Street, along the banks of the Eau Claire/Chippewa Rivers, the restaurant is within walking distance from UWEC and is in the heart of all of the college bars. Unlike the regular bars, Mona's has an amazing drink menu, incredible food and a fun, hip atmosphere. It rivals many of the upscale restaurants in the Twin Cities, and for half of the price. It's one of the few restaurants in Eau Claire where you can sit down with a glass of wine and relax. If you live in the EC area, or happen to be in a town for a visit, I highly recommend making a stop here!

I was not impressed with the chicken or steak for the money. However, the service was good.

By far the best place to eat Mediterranean food in Eau Claire, if not this entire region of the state. I haven't tasted Italian this good since I returned from Italy! Somewhat expensive but well worth it.

It was a very charming atmosphere, for that alone I would go again, but their menu is somewhat limited.
