8. Malt Shovel

The management of the Malt Shovel has managed to maintain much of this old pub's charm, even though is is part of a chain. Conveniently located near Waverly Station, this place usually has a buzzing crowd (literally). There are 106 malt whiskeys to choose from and some good home-cooking going on in the kitchen.
