26. Royal Pizza

Old Strathcona has plenty of choice when it comes to eating. Royal Pizza just happens to be one of the longest-lived, open since the 1960s. It's a quick, family friendly type place that hasn't changed much over the years, although the menu has expanded since the "new" owners took over in 1995. The big draw is still pizza, and it's a fine example of what is today a staple food. There are about 20 toppings to choose from, along with a couple of unusual pies. "The Boss Has Gone Mad" for example, is essentially spaghetti on a crust, and it is one big glorious (and amazingly tasty!) heap of food. Calzones and baked pasta dishes are also reliably good if you want to skip pizza for once.   (© 10Best)
