8. Peter Robertson Gallery

A spare, clean-lined décor is an apt setting for this gallery's contemporary art. Since 1992, the owners have showcased the work of select Canadian artists and those from the Continent. Colorful canvases are beautifully displayed and given prominence amid the white walls and high ceilings. You'll also find steel and wood sculptures and stoneware vessels. I have only seen galleries with this much style and taste in New York or perhaps Seattle. Great selection of paintings and sculpture displayed in a wonderful, luminous, open space.
