6. Fursdon House

The Fursdson family has lived in this beautiful country manor home for more than 700 years, and daily guided tours of the home and Westcountry grounds are available. The tour includes an insightful walk through the home, a visit to the estate's museum, and visits to some of the surrounding thatched cottages. The decor in the rooms reflects various periods of tastes and influences, including Georgian and medieval, and the costume collection in the museum is something to behold.   (© 10Best)
