2. The Bridge Inn

This pink-colored rural pub is situated on the banks the River Clyst, and in warmer weather, you are welcome to enjoy your quaff outside by the river. The 16th Century Inn has an authentic interior and is a popular with locals and visitors. The beer list here comprises all real ales, all served from the barrel, and traditional pub food. It has the distinction of being run by the same family for 106 years, and is the only pub visited by HM Queen Elizabeth. The Bridge Inn was also named CAMRA Heritage Pub of the Year 2003.   (© 10Best)
