3. The Galley Restaurant

The Galley is well worth the trip to Topsham, which is about 15 minutes from Exeter. The menu, as the name suggests, mostly consists of seafood and fish, all of which is very well done. Appetizers include their homemade soups, and the spring vegetables and ginseng soup is one of their best. The entrées, such as their locally caught, breaded Diver Scallops garnished with lemon, garlic, and parsley sauce, taste as good as they look and sound. The staff here is very accommodating as well.
