The Buzz -- This unique festival dates back to the 1890s, when Tontitown's Italian settlers gathered together to celebrate the harvest of their most important cash crop. These days, grapes don't play as important a role in the community as they once did, but that doesn't stop the townsfolk from continuing this mid-August tradition with no shortage of aplomb. For five nights, the Tontitown welcomes in festival-goers from all walks to enjoy food stalls with homemade pastas, arts and crafts stands, live music, and even a road race (the Run for the Grapes is a 5-k run-walk that is held in conjunction with the festival).
