2. Common Grounds

The service at Common Grounds is very inconsistent. Sometimes the kitchen closes early (especially on weekdays) just because they believe no one is going to order food. Nachos are good but again, they're inconsistent. Sunday brunch is busy but over the years it had become unworthy of the wait. The portions of food have shrank and the prices have steadily climbed. The wine list is dismal. The beer selection is okay. Pastries are not in-house. I have experienced great service there before; and great food before, however, I can't help but feel management is paying more attention to the Hog House (which they also own) and letting Common Grounds slip into the abyss of bad Fayetteville eateries.

I've lived in Fayetteville for 7 years and I have never, ever seen live music at Common Grounds. Don't go there expecting it. But, the food is usually good. If it's busy, expect to be there a few hours.
