2. AQ Chicken House

WEST FAYETTEVILLE.   AQ is one of Northwest Arkansas's true local treasures, as it has been since the elder Springdale location opened its doors back in 1947. Their chicken is prepared four ways: pan-fried, over-the-coals, barbecued, or fire-roasted. Hungry appetites should consider the all-you-can-eat platter, with a choice of sides (from seasoned green beans and corn on the cob to sweet potato casserole and fried okra).
