10. Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Complex

Located in the center of Fayetteville, this museum is comprised of two floors of artifacts, including items from the American Indians, European settlement, African American slavery, industry, the Civil War, and more. The museum provides an informative glimpse at the storied history of North Carolina's southeast region. Frequent special events and educational programs are featured and an on-site gift shop is available.
