Tai Sho has recently come under new management and ownership. The new set are completely different from the previous ones, I do not think they have any experience in the resturant industry. But that seems to be just the trick this place needed. The food is absolutley faboulous now, and the have some of the best sushi in town. Their Habachi Chicken and vegetables are delicious. They have a full bar now and their bartenders are very knowledgeable. I was very impressed to see that the staff and owners are committed to ensureing the happiness off their customers as well as seeing that they are well fed. The new owner is on site almost every nite which is a very good thing. I would deffinutely recomend this plac as a wonderfl place to bring the family or a date. Your will be thorughly impressed.

My husband and I went there for our date night. We love Japanese cuisine. However, our experience was not very pleasant. First off, there was no hostest at the door. We had to wait atleast 5 mins to be seated. We had placed our orders and when the sushi chef was done, our server was no where around to bring it to our table. I could see our sushi platter but yet we had to wait to be served. When we finally received our sushi platter, we had to ask for utensils and napkins. We were hardly ever checked on if we needed our drinks to be refilled. My husband did asked our server for drinks only to be ignored and went on to attend to something else. We did however asked another server and only for that server to go tell somebody else to go and get it and then that server then got the attention of our server. Wow, it took 3 different servers to finally get a refill. We had another sushi plate order and our server brought it to us and didnt even have the adocity to take our other platter away and had just placed our new order on top of it. We didnt even bother waiting for our server to bring us our check. We just got up the cashier to pay for our meal. Apparently she seemed annoyed having to leave her station to find our check. Never have I ever experienced such service at any other Japanese restuarants. I wouldn't recommend that restuarant. For about the same amount, I suggest just going to Miyabi on Skibo.
