Beer is forgettable
I'm a big fan of beer, and I was interested to try the Consecration Belgian Golden and their Imperial Stout. Neither was that good. Huske has a Belgian Golden style from Triangle Brewing on tap that is better than their own attempt, and for only $3. They did cook my burger to the medium I requested, and that makes me happy. I'll give it another go, but I'll skip the in-house brews.

Fantastic
I am normally very skeptical about going to new restaurants but, this website pushed me to go to Huske. It was a great experience. Not only was the setting great, but our service was even better. The food was prepared and brought out in excellent timing. Our waitress was fantastic! We didn't have one problem the entire night. I can't wait to go back. It is a perfect place to either go out with your friends or take your family. This is a great place!!

All around best...
From the ambience, the food and service, the beer, the historic downtown light life, the great crowd, Huske hardware House is the best. The new UK style menu to match the brewers English brewing style is phenomenal.

Definitely recommend this place - Great Microbrew Restaurant
The Beer: First things first - the in-house crafted beers are excellent. I especially enjoyed the Rusty Nail Pale Ale and the Irish Red. I think that I've tried them all over the past couple of weeks. A real improvement from what I remember years back. The new brewmeister is some sort of "High Priest(ess) of the Beer Church" - no kidding - she seems to really know her stuff. The beers are winning all sorts of awards/contests, and it's going to start being available in other bars/liquor stores/groceries sometime in the near future - the folks I talked to didn't know when. The Resaurant: The same great things can be said about the food and atmosphere of the place - now my favorite place to bring the family for dinner or throw back a few with friends and relax. The Beef Tips, Jambalaya, and Ribeye are probably my favorite entrees, and I can't help but getting the Drunkin Dip for an appetizer every time I go. Service: The service was good and seems to get better every time I go. Price: Moderate - It was cheaper than I expected, though for the quality of the place. Having been away for a while, it's great to see historic downtown Fayetteville really turning into a class act and the Huske Hardware doing so, as well. I would definitely recommend this place for just about any occasion - a date, casual or business lunch/dinner, general drinking with the guys, whatever. Great place!

Best in town
Hands down the best brew pub and beer in NC and certainly the best in Fayetteville. Since they re-opened the quality of the place has really raised the bar for restaurants and bars downtown. Food is very good beer is excellent. FRI and SAT get pretty crazy later at night, but you can't beat it for weekend fun, people watching, dancing or a good time. There wil always be the occasional drunks late no matter where you go, but I think the owners really work had to make this a clean, respectable, and safe place to go. They serve all forms of alcohol, but if you don't drink their beer, you're missing out.

The interior of Huske is lovely compared to how it used to be. Too bad all the renovation money went to the interior and not the food or staff. I received the worst service and because our server was horrible; he got my order wrong twice because he didn't write it down. I was in a party of 6 and none of us enjoyed our food. I would not reccommend Huske, in fact, I would warn against wasting money on dining there.

Don't Bother
The food at Huske Hardware used to be really good. Then the restaurant closed and reopened some time later under new management. Since reopening the food is not nearly as good and is more expensive. The wine list is not as extensive either. I will not go back as the last time I went I found the food inferior compared to the price.

Me and my girlfriends came to visit from Wilmington and thought we'd check it out. I was not impressed with this place at all. The bartenders were very rude and snotty. It took forever just to get a drink and I mean literally like 20 minutes. When I went to use the ladies room I gagged and I've been in some bad places, but there was vomit all over the sink and I can not even get into the floor. I got the impression it was a total army meat market. Not at all what we were looking for and the ridiculous amount of creepy wasted guys really pushed it over the edge. We gave it a try, but never again!

My expectations of the quality of this place were completely squashed by the time I left. The quality of the food was horrible. We should have stayed at home and eaten Stouffer's micro meals. My and my wife's food was cold and honestly reminded me of microwaved food. The only reason I know it wasn't was that it wasn't even hot when it came out. Our dishes looked as if they were slopped together by a prison cook. The flavor was lacking to say the least. They did bring us out new plates that were hot, but it didn't remedy the quality. The service was horrible, but it looked as if no fault of their own. Watching them run around like chicken's with their heads cut off you could tell they were over burdened. They certainly were understaffed and this made my dining experience all that much worse. It took almost an hour to get two entrees out to us and the wait between beverage refills was unbearable. I remember my wife trying to make light of the situation saying that I'll get my water refilled when the ice in my glass melted. My wife and I honestly could not wait to get out of there and our experience really put a damper on our evening. I never plan on eating here again after that experience. It was, to sum it up, unbearably horrible. I'd suggest somewhere else if you want quality food and service. This place has none of them. Normaly I don't bother with these review sites, but I was so unsatisfied with my experience that I've gone out of my way to write this review.

Under new ownership, the new Huskes is great! The food is good, the staff is attentive, and the atmosphere draws a more "classy" crowd to downtown Fayetteville!

I am so happy with the "new" Huske Hardware! The new owners have made the place look fantastic! The atmosphere has gone back to live music which is good for downtown. The food is great and we are happy to have Huske back for our weekend entertainment!

We were taken here for lunch by a local friend. It is located in the wonderfully quaint downtown area. The restaurant is in the microbrewery and there is seating on the catwalk. The decor was very inviting, the noise level was just right to have conversations within our group. The food was much, much better than you would get at those national chain restaurants. Definately worth a visit! Sorry, can't comment on the beer, as we didn't have any.

Great restaurant. I've had several of the dishes and each has been excellent. Located downtown. You should try the restaurant on the 4th Friday and then walk around downtown and enjoy the open shops.

Stopped by here for lunch on a weekend since I love good micro-brewed beer and was hoping for the best since the building has a wonderful historic attraction. What a disappointment, they had run out of two types of featured beers that they brew and the food/service were lacking. The beers I did try were not that very flavorful.

Monday night featured an awesome band. They had a great sound and terrific ballad of rock.. They will be there again on the 19th of July to perform again on the open mic night around 11pm.So don’t miss Fayetteville’s next rising stars. Along with the beer you'll hear great rock n roll.

One of the best local hangouts. The staff is great and the prices are reasonable. Moreso, the atmosphere and location are ideal for out-of-towners and locals.
