The food was alright, but I think Chris's is a top place to get a good steak in Fayetteville. Don't let the outer appearance of the restaurant fool you, the inside is nice. There is a nice wine selection and overall a nice dining experience.

New to Fayetteville and VERY thankful to my family that helped us move. Took them to Chris' for "the best steak in town." Very disapointing. We all received our steaks over-done (ordered medium rare, medium, and medium well) and they were tough - when we left we decided the next time we wanted food like that, we'd go to a Ryan's-like place and save the hefty money spent. The hostess was pleasant, but it took us a while to "meet" our waitress - she's wasn't rude, but sure wasn't pleasant either. Just medioker service. Ambiance is nice, but definitely not what we expected from a "nice" restaurant.

I enjoy Chris's Steakhouse everytime I want great food and service with a quieter ambiance. I'm never disappointed.

Very disappointing! On a positive note, The ambiance is very nice, however the snootiness of staff definitely takes away from it. The hostess was not hospitable, the waitress was by no stretch a "formal dining" professional. The food was nothing special (not seasoned, tough meat) FYI: You can go to Logans Roadhouse for a much better steak! I suppose if you're in an "acceptable" click of Haymount froo-froos you may fit in just fine, but we can certainly think of better ways to spend that kind of money and feel more welcomed doing it.

This steak house leaves a lot to be desired.I order medium rare ribeye, it came raw, sent it back, they burned it and it stuck to hot plate. My wife ordered medium, received it well done....

Best place for steak in town.

This was my first time in Fayetteville. I found the steak house in local phone book & I was very pleased that I took the extra effort to find it. The food & staff were excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. I can see why it is the favorite for the local folks.

If you are looking for a family place this is not a place to go. We also had people seated before us that were older and more business like. We were with another couple both of the men military men and us army wives and were treated rudely and staff was snobby.

We had a wonderful time! I would not recommend taking the children, although there were some there. Reservations are definitely suggested, or you’ll wait a while, but of course the food and service is definitely worth the wait.
