FLAGSTAFF. Not your ordinary sweet shop, Cold Stone offers a broad selection of ice creams, yogurts, and smoothies. The main difference, however, is in the toppings. Instead of throwing a few sprinkles on top, employees thoroughly mix add-ins and ice cream on a chilled granite stone. That way, the Heath bar crunch (or whatever your addiction is) goes all the way to the bottom of the crisp waffle cone. If you crave something else, they also offer heaping sundaes and malted milkshakes.

FLAGSTAFF. A colorful, relaxed place, Jitters boasts a more laid-back ambience than its name would imply. Fashioned from Arabica beans, their coffees have an intense flavor, and the menu includes hot and cold selections, like white chocolate mochas, caramel macchiatos, and espressos. You'll also find chai teas, Italian sodas, and juices. Add in a scone, a muffin, or a slice of cheesecake, and everything is good. If you find yourself craving something a bit more filling, soups, salads, and sandwiches are available as well.
