BATTLE ALLEY.   Located in an old mansion the historic area of Holly, this elegant restaurant attracts people from all over Southeast Michigan. The restaurant serves dishes like Norwegian salmon and roasted Long Island duckling in an elegant atmosphere with candles and quiet music in the background. This is the perfect place for romance or celebrating that special occasion. The list of red and white wines is quite extensive – ask for the Reserve List for additional wines, ports, champagnes and cigars.   (© 10Best)

The food is pretty good, but Red Rooster is better, so are the prices.

My flight was cancelled and this place was recommended by another passenger. What a joy! Out in the middle of nowhere, but worth the trip. Wines fairly priced, which is unusual for restaurants of this stature.
