This museum exhibits works that were once a part of The Duomo, The Baptistery, and Campanille. Original tools that were used to build the Duomo are among the many displays. One popular attraction is the unfinished "Pietà" by Michelangelo. Vasari revealed in his "Lives of the Artists" that Michelangelo's temper flared, and he angrily broke the right arm off of Christ. Donatello's realistic wooden sculpture of Mary Magdalene is also housed here, as are the actual doors from the Baptistery.
