Herbert P. Horne, a collector and historian of fine art, bequeathed his 15th century palace and its belongings to the city of Florence. In 1922, the residence/museum opened to the public. Numerous antiques are among the collection, including furniture, household items, and ceramics. Giotto's "St. Stephen" is one of the most popular pieces on display.   (© 10Best)
