7. Butterfly World

We really enjoyed our visit on Saturday 6th November. Please note that the hummingbird you call a Jamaican Streamertail is called the 'Doctor Bird' in Jamaica. It is the national bird and figures on the planes of the airline Air Jamaica

We have been here five times now, and each time we see and learn something new! Not only are there amazing butterflies, but exotic birds as well! Leave 2-3 hours for a leisurely pace. There are many benches, where you can commune with nature (and rest your feet!). I have personally walked around with one or two butterflies perched on my hat and shoulders for five to ten minutes at a time!
