POMPANO BEACH.   Cafe Maxx is known for its exquisite menu of Floridian specialties. The restaurant features a fusion of flavors, each served up with an artistic attitude. Innovative combinations include Norwegian salmon, Florida black grouper, or stuffed veal chops. Some entrées also pack a bit of an accent – Hunan BBQ grilled quail (on Asian noodle cake and stir fry vegetable, red chili oil) or crispy yucca-scallion Florida grouper (with vanilla rum butter, sweet mash, asparagus & Parisienne vegetables). AWFUL This place is simply awful. I ordered a cheese platter and I saw the "chef" cutting it up haphazardly, smelling it and making faces, and when it came to the table it looked so unappetizing I should have taken a picture, it was as if my 4 year old put it together, insulting really. The food tasted like nothing, it was flavorless. This place is OVERRATED and the service is SLOW and RUDE. Save your money, Hamburger Helper would be better than this place!
