LOVERS KEY.   Originally known as a getaway spot for couples, Lovers Key State Park in Ft Myers is one of those rare secluded places where visitors can observe nature without all the distractions of the modern world. This Fort Myers park is home to a great variety of wildlife, including manatees, spoonbills, dolphins, marsh rabbits and bald eagles, so there’s certainly quite a lot to see here. Taking the tram over to the first bridge and walking over to the beach, it was quiet and beautiful. The walking trail looked very interesting and I plan to return and take the nature hike!
