6. Southwest Florida Reading Festival

The Buzz -- Held each March at the Harborside Event Center and Centennial Park in Fort Myers, the Southwest Florida Reading Festival sponsored by the Lee County Library System promotes literacy and a love for reading. The festival features appearances by popular authors from varying genres, including novelists and young adult and children’s literature. Many activities are available for festival attendees, including seminars and storytelling for children.
