8. Brick Bar & Skybar

DOWNTOWN.   Located above Harold's, Brick Bar is a laid-back yet upscale bar that features a varied repertoire of entertainment over the course of the week: karaoke nights, performances by funk and R&B acts, even the occasional dance party. As for the space, the exposed brick walls that give the place its name are disrupted only by large windows, and the smooth-topped bar in the center of the room is easily accessible to all patrons. Meanwhile, upbeat Skybar, on the rooftop of the same building, features live and DJ-spun music in an attractive outdoor setting that overlooks the river. Expect to find a younger crowd at Skybar.
