4. Chops, Steaks & Seafood

I went for dinner with my date. We had an appetizer, far from inventive but still worth eating, and the soup course before our meals. The soup was an interesting twist on clam chowder. The pasta dishes were cooked well but safe when it came to flavor. Desert was a nice light choice recommended by the waiter. My only real complaint was the over affectionate server who exchanged several awkward moments with both me and my date. Overall a nice restaurant with above average food, a young staff, and old clientele.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!
My family and I called ahead to make sure we would be able to get a seat and were told we could. We were immediately sat when we arrived. Then after 15 minutes of being ignored by every server, busser, and host, we got up and left. We were not offered water, we were not told that a server would be 'right with us', we were not acknowledged in any way! We were not apparently the only ones. Another couple next to us sat with only drinks and no one checking on them either. When we left there were at least four servers in the kitchen conversing idly. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Chop's Steak House
The food was incredible, the service was fantastic, (you MUST ask for Miranda!) Call for reservations. We enjoyed the Prime Rib, (blackened) and Red Snapper. Portions were great. Presentation and ambiance were wonderful! A guaranteed delightful experience.

Had breaded flounder with saffron rice and stewed vegetables. The food was delicious and well prepared. The Chop's salad (included) was tasty, and there was plenty of it. Good wine selection, and the staff was knowledgable and attentive. The establishment manager greeted us and wished us well on our exit. I shall return to this first class restaurant!
