If you are craving seafood, head straight to this excellent restaurant, which features consistently fresh dishes and an extensive menu full of traditional favorites and creative options. Plenty of great appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes are available, but try a seafood specialty like ginger-teriyaki tuna, lobster tail, or tilapia in a flavorful pine-nut crust. Excellent service in an upscale but relaxed atmosphere.

Delightful Experience!
Outstanding! We recently hosted our daughter's wedding reception in Chappell's upstairs. The mid-1800's ambience of rich oak and warm lighting was delightful; A perfect blend of casual elegance. The food was sumptuous; starting with the goat cheese brushhetta, shrimp cocktail, and fresh vegetable hors d'oeuvres, and on to the seafood gumbo and butternut squash bisque, to the melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon, chicken diane, encrusted tilapia, and jambalaya entries to the wedding pies, grapes and cheese; It was delicious! Sheldon (the owner) and his team were professional and gracious. Brian (the chef) was wonderful to work with. (Especially in light of planning this from out of state) The attentiveness of the staff and servers was unflagging throughout the six hours we were there! We would highly recommend Chappell's to our family and friends.

This is a favorite of ours. It's where we go for that special occasion. The service is outstanding. They always make us feel warm and welcome. It's not the handiest place to get to, but it's well worth the trip. Great food, great people, warm atmosphere. We always walk out feeling good.

I was one of a party of six who had the pleasure of eating at this establishment this weekend. Most of us had the special of perch smothered with bernaise sauce and crab meat with a compliment of asparagus. This was served with a house salad. The fare was superb including the edible flowers that set it off. A brownie Sundae completed my dinner. Another party had the jumbo almond battered shrimp which I had the pleasure of sampling. Fantastic stimulation of my taste buds. A must for dining when in Fort Wayne.
