STOCKYARDS.   A throwback to past days, this daily event was introduced to celebrate "Fort Worth 150," the anniversary of the city's founding as a military outpost on the banks of the Trinity River. Now, when the weather cooperates, cowboys and cowgirls herd a dozen or so Texas longhorns from Exchange Avenue and back each afternoon. Although you can see the cattle anywhere along their route, the best place to view the herd is from Stockyards Station, the visitors center, and the Livestock Exchange Building. The drive takes place at roughly 11:30am and 4pm daily.   (© 10Best)

Don't plan your whole day around this, if you've ever seen a cow crossing the road, you've seen this. Don't forget your camera, $15.00 at any gift shop. Also, for anything in the Stockyard, print how many ever coupons per person, they don't act like EVERYONE else and use the coupon for the amount of people it's good for.
