The Buzz -- The oldest running rodeo in the country (first held in 1896), this exhibition has more than a century of entertainment under its belt. A downtown parade on the first Saturday morning kicks off the festivities, and there's also an animal petting zoo and a midway with carnival rides and games for all ages. Along with rodeo events, you can see livestock of all sorts, including cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, and rabbits competing for ribbons, and an exhibition hall is set up for vendors. Even if you're not involved in the event directly, it's fun just to browse through it all! Check local listings for specific event times. |
