5. Parade of Lights

The Buzz -- A holiday event, this parade is held the Friday after Thanskgiving and winds a mile through the downtown area. An extravaganza of light and spectacle, the parade includes beautiful floats, marching bands, horses, vintage cars, cartoon characters, and even the Jolly Old Elf himself. The event ends with the lighting of the city's Christmas tree in Sundance Square and is fun for the entire family.
