Simple and uncomplicated, this celebrated eatery attracts lots of folks, meaning that it can get lively at times. Don't let the revelry stop you from sampling some of the best barbecue around, though. Choose luscious ribs, tender beef brisket or even a juicy serving of chicken – it's all good. It would seem a crime to visit For Worth and not eat some barbecue. Our favorite is the Railhead Smokehouse. The brisket is tender enough to cut with a fork -- a plastic one. The restaurant's motto -- "Life's Too Short To Live in Dallas" -- sums up the independent spirit of the place. (from Southern Living)

Great Barbecue. Easy Location. I've been going to Railhead for a few years now. They have consistently good barbecue and debateably some of the best in the city. The big rival being Angelo's. The location is relaxed and easy to get in and out of......at least driving to it.. Parking can be a bit of a hassel during peak time. A beer on the patio can always make up for it.
