German cuisine isn't always easy to find, but aficionados have an innate ability to sniff it out. Edelweiss, one of the best of the lot, is fully deserving of their attention. This festive place serves up a wealth of favorites, including roast pork ribs, sauerkraut, goulash, herring, and potato pancakes. They also make available sauerbraten, knockwurst, fondue, and all the requisite schnitzels. Beer, of course, always flows freely. Decor isn't elaborate, and noise can run rampant, but it's all overlooked since patrons have such a good time when they go. Live entertainment gets their energy up, and dancing is not unheard of.   (© 10Best)

Fun place, good food, and lots of it. Reasonable prices and good service. Big, family style tables for large get togethers. I was there tonight with 11 people, including 5 children. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We drove 70 miles to eat there!

A "must do" experience! We have been going to the Edelweiss for over 32 years and have never been disappointed. Bernd is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet; we feel he is like family. Food is great and entertainment is unbeatable. We celebrate all our family occasions there. In fact, we even had our daughter's wedding reception at the Edelweiss. That was five years ago and people are still commenting about how it was the best reception they ever attended. If you come on a Friday or Saturday night, come early in order to get a good table and parking spot.
