17. Ol' South Pancake House

Food is great and Free 24 hr WiFi is sweet!
The german pancake is so delicious! It's like a little slice of heaven! They have a huge menu, you can have anything from french crepes to a 12 oz sirloin steak! Love the laid back atmosphere......perfect for studying or surfing the web since they now have Free WiFi!! Peace Love and Pancakes!

I went here based on other reviews. Their special lemon pancakes were $3 each for a small pancake, so I skipped that and had the regular pancakes and scrambled eggs. The eggs were a combination of regular and powdered eggs which was obvious by the floury mushy consistency. The pancakes were doughy and undercooked. My chicken fried steak was very good. Apathetic service, frozen OJ.

Breakfast isn't that hard, but Ol' South makes it really really well. Their "Dutch Babies" and great home cookin' are a big hit with our Bicycle Club on Saturdays. Add in a friendly, great staff and it's like going to see family for breakfast (but not having to do dishes), this is THE PLACE!
