5. M.L. Leddy's Boot and Saddlery

For real, probably the finest custom made boots and saddlery. For almost 30 years they have delivered the finest in made to measure boots and saddlery to my family and we rank as one of their newer customer families. They are not for the general public, but those who know and appreciate the finest of workmanship, service and integrity.

M.L. Leddy's people are great. If your down in Houston, Texas for a Rodeo go by and see them. Best people ever. My grandfather has been buying his boots from them for about 50 years.

Leddy's is steeped in tradition and quality with my family for more than 70 years as we are now turning a new phase with a fourth generation.

Everyone in the store is knowledgeable and helpful. I have bought my boots from there for years. Recently bought slacks, sport coats and shirts and had them shipped to my home after alterations. Everything fit perfectly.

I ordered a pair over the phone. Usually I wear an 81/2 D or E. Billy told me I should try 9s. He was dead on. These are the best pair of boots I have ever had. The soles should last longer. I am on my second set in 10 months. I try swapping them out with other boots to give them a rest, but my feet have gotten too spoiled.

The showroom that was set up at the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo was so impressive my girlfriend and I both ordered boots. The people there went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience at their store. M.L. Leddy boots are legendary and I’m proud to now say I own a pair.
