CITY CENTER.   This is quite possibly Frankfurt's most well known museum, and certainly its most popular. The top exhibit (at least among the under-12 set) is the complete replica of a diplodocus skeleton, the only one in Europe. This, along with several other dinosaur skeletons (T Rex, stegosaurus, triceratops, iguanodon and a bunch more) and other prehistoric creatures, elicit cries of "Cool!" from throngs of happy kids every day. Other highlights include Egyptian mummies, rocks and meteorites, evolution, marine life, and insect life. It's a fascinating place to spend a few hours.   (© 10Best)
