The Buzz -- Wäldchestag, or "Forest Day," falls each year on the Tuesday after Whitsun and is unique to Frankfurt am Main, where it has been celebrated as a national holiday for centuries. Families head to the Frankfurt City Forest to celebrate their love of their city with festive entertainment, beer and Frankfurt's famous apple wine, known as "ebbelwoi."
If using public mass transit, you can take trams 21 and V or buses 51 and 61 to the Oberforsthaus stop.
