The Buzz -- From its humble beginnings in 1978, Opernplatzfest has grown into one of Frankfurt's most popular annual events. Held in the square around the city's old Opera House, Opernplatzfest is a culinary and cultural festival offering gourmet food, stage productions and piano recitals, honoring the spirit of the inscription on the Opera House facade: "To the true, the beautiful, the good."
