4. Turnfest 2009 - International German Gymnastics Festival

The Buzz -- 2009 marks the fifth time since 1880 that Frankfurt has hosted the International German Gymnastics Festival, also known as Turnfest. It features a week's worth of championship-level gymnastics competition as well as opening and closing ceremonies, presentations, games and other fun activities. The main events are held at Messe Frankfurt, the city's fairgrounds, but the entire festival is held at seven different venues, all within walking distance of each other.
