SACHSENHAUSEN.   Down a cobblestoned street, in the cellar of a 150 year old tavern, apple wine (Apfelwein) is still pressed each autumn and the fruity concoction is served in traditional style with heaping platters of sausages, fried potatoes and sauerkraut. An excellent selection of regional and national beers are available as well. Come ready to take your place at one of the long tables to drink and sing along with the locals.
